Experience the charm of the English countryside at Shropshire Barn Stays. Our beautifully restored barns offer a relaxing escape with modern comforts, ideal for family gatherings, celebrations, or a peaceful retreat with friends. Immerse yourself in the stunning scenery and rich heritage of North Shropshire.
We can accommodate up to 27 guests between the three properties: ten in the Dairy, nine in The Old Milking Parlour, and eight in Stocks Lane Cottage.
Each property has been thoughtfully designed to blend rustic character with modern comfort. Spacious kitchens and generous dining areas make gathering together effortless, while cosy lounges, hot tubs, enclosed outdoor spaces and a games room provide the perfect setting for relaxing and reconnecting.
The Dairy Barn
The Dairy looks small from the outside but don't be deceived! It has a huge central lounge and dining area with stone floors and area rugs with carpets throughout the bedrooms for a luxurious feel ~ for added luxury we have underfloor heating throughout and a log burner in the lounge.
Entertaining is made easy in the large kitchen, spacious lounge and dining area and the outside patio area seating and fire pit.
The Dairy offers five bedrooms with flexible layouts, including up to 4 singles. Two en-suites and one additional shower room.
Outside you can relax on the patio and share a glass of wine around the fire pit, or unwind in the hot tub. If energy is still high, you can challenge your friends to a game of pool or play with your children in the private, enclosed garden.
Stocks Lane Cottage
Stocks Lane is a beautifully renovated farmhouse-style retreat with a charming oak-framed porch and practical mudroom — perfect for throwing off those muddy boots after countryside walks. Stylish open-plan living combines modern comfort with a true home-from-home feel.
At the heart of the property is a spacious kitchen, dining and sunroom overlooking the private enclosed garden, complete with a patio, six-seater hot tub and fire pit. Guests can also relax beside the log burner in the cosy TV lounge.
Upstairs, four elegant king-size bedrooms each feature their own en-suite, offering comfort and privacy for every guest.
